[Santa Saves Christmas]

Great game :D I am surprised this has not more reviews and views?! I must admit, the graphics aren't the best, but the gameplay is pretty fun, especially how you can add more reindeer and each can hold upto three different items - this kept me interested and made me beat the game :) Nice variety of enemies, great bosses (especially the last one, he was really hard), and lovely upgrades which give a beautiful screen if rapidfire with laser beam is enabled on all reindeers ;D

The game got very little notice on both sites I uploaded it to, I'm attributing that to poor timing though and hopefully it won't happen again!

As a matter of fact I'm aiming to upload my next game some time today, be sure to keep an eye out for Dark Maze as it's far more polished than this game in my opinion!

Interesting

Very good game, indeed. I love how the ship is pulled by the gravity, as that makes it a challenge. Another great thing, is that every level has a new and unique level design, bringing something new each time, so that the gameplay stays solid and fun. Though, the game is short, nothing is to be complained, as this is your first game, and it is VERY impressive - looking forward to your next submissions ;)

It's really good for your beginner level, and to practice with the Basic Actionscript Codes you've learnt. You could actually have improved it with a bit creativity, but still, it's actually very good for a beginner, and I am sure you're proud of yourself ;)

PRESENTATION: 10
I really liked the intro of this game, with the Comic-style way of telling the story. When the main character, who is awesome, gets caged in Candy Land in the intro, I thought this was a fighting game because of the gladiator-like battle arena, LOL! It didn't take me long to understand the full extent of the game, and it kept amusing me with more and more bears with different capabilites :)
You get addicted pretty fast, trust me!

GRAPHICS: 10
This game has without a doubt, beautiful graphics, just like all of your games. The art is so cute and simple, yet amazing to look at - reminds of cute japanese drawings (chibi like art). Loved how you divided the arena into 3 different areas with "candified" environments. Just loved it :D
Way to go with the Cotton Clouds ;)

SOUND: 9
The main music suits the gameplay, well, but it gets too repetitive, and this is where the mute button comes in handy! However, it would be neat if the music started dramatic in the 1st area, then got more dramatic as the character entered the next area.

GAMEPLAY: 10
The game starts out slow, yet fun to play, as most of the Toss games out there, and develops to a high-speed crushing epic game. The mini-game idea is just fantastic, and makes this game kind of unique in its own genre. Also, I love when you crash through a door with an incredible speed :D

LASTING APPEAL: 10
I ended up playing this game for 2 hours, just to get all the upgrades (mostly because I thought if I reached the end, I wouldn't be able to max out the remaining upgrades, and therefore, died on purpose in the 3rd area alot of times, until I got 'em all)! This game is very entertaining, and you'll at least be stuck with for an hour, and max, 2 hours!

OVERALL: 10
A game, one of the best in its genre, and with incomparable art and creative gameplay - this is a must play. Especially if you're dreading school on a Sunday!

~ NG MEDAL TIPS ~

BREAK JAWBREAKER'S JAW! - 25p
Since this game will at least last for 1 hour, you'll get countless of tries to get a Perfect Launch (hit the Middle-Top of the Launch Power Circle Board). Each time, aim for a Perfect Launch, and you'll most definitely get 10 of those, before you finish the game. Even after that, you can still play the game, giving you literally countless of tries!

OUTLAW! - 25p
Buy the Resistance upgrade, and when you have an average speed, stomp on the Police Officers running among the Jelly Bears. It is most likely obvious that you'll hit a hundred of 'em, before getting out of Candy Land!

CANDYLAND BREAKTHROUGH! - 50p
Try to get the airborne Jelly Bears with special equipment, like the Balloon, Rocket (when riding a rocket, aim for the sky, trust me. Keep going up at once), and Gliders (when getting on one, also aim for the sky). Don't waste your Rocket Slams (the stomp power, executed by pressing Space), use your brain, and hope that luck is with you. If you can't reach the end of the game, or don't have enough speed to break through the last wall, try collecting money to upgrade everything, and you WILL be able to complete the game at least once ;)

LET'S PRETEND THE FLOOR IS LAVA! - 50p
This one requires nothing but luck. Try not hitting the ground. This excludes hitting the running Gummy Bear on the ground! And I think I obtained this achievement by not touching the ground only through the 1st area. Not sure!

SWEET IMPACT! - 50p
This one is easy, and the powerful attack executed automatically after returning from the sky, is really helpful and devastating. At one point, with the upgrades on the main character, you will be able to reach pass the sky's limit. The Rocket is very helpful when trying to achieve this one. Simply, when riding a rocket, keep going up. Also, if you hit a Glider in the air, go up at once!

BUFFED OUT! - 100p
You can play this game over and over again, after finishing it!

MIX THE FLAVOURS! - 100p
Max out General Goods. There is a green one near the sky!

PANTS ON FIRE! - 100p
Hit Rockets, Springs and Peppers/Chilli, and use your Rocket Slams, wisely!

PRESENTATION: 9.5
This game captures you from the start. With the smooth and good-looking art and animation, you feel you have to play this! Also, the easiness at the start also addicts you, and you just wanna play it more, because you feel like you can solve it!

GRAPHICS: 10
Simply mind-blowing. The art, the graphics, the animations and all the graphics in this game are simply incredible. I have great respect for the Artist :)

SOUND: 9
Fitting tune with the gameplay. Also some nice SFX :)

GAMEPLAY: 10
Where do I start? This game is so amazingly done. It's so easy, nice and have so many cool features. I just love the powers you can use as Belial, and it even gets better when you get other people with unique powers to join your team, and then you can use them!

NG MEDALS: 10
Good choice of NG Medals. Easy to collect!

LASTING APPEAL: 9.5
This game won't last long because of the Point 'n' Click genre, but that's to be expected from these games. You can enjoy it the first time, and then, the second time, collect all the Forks you missed (if you did), and beat the game in under 4 minutes!

OVERALL: 10
It has been a long time since I've played a good adventure game like this one. Looking forward for the next one, keybol. Amaze me, like you did with this one, and I hope the artist also amazes me with his/her incredible work of animation and art -> I'm in awe O_O

THE GAME AUTO-SAVES

Wow man, I felt like I was playing a real game. I mean, you've worked really hard on this game - I can see that! It's got 8 Worlds + 2 Bonus Worlds (just like Super Mario games), it has got 10 levels on each world, it has got rewards, it has got medals, it has got alot of difficult-to-earn achievements (enough to keep someone busy for hours), it has got awesome kickass music, it has got powerups, and so much more that makes it resemble like a real game ^^

I really enjoyed playing this game, but the controls were a little off and the game was too hard, but the powerups and the level design for each world made me want to beat the whole game to test out all of the cool stuff :)

I just beat all the 8 worlds after 1+ hour and found out that there were 2 more worlds. It is just too bad that you have to play the game over again to complete taskes to earn Trophies to unlock those worlds, but that's okay (you could make it like New Super Mario Bros Wii, that you have to collect 3 Star Coins or something similar on every single level on all the main worlds to unlock the secret ones)!

Nice and simple story for this game. Starts with simple levels with nice graphics :)

GRAPHICS: 10
Very-well designed levels with good enough graphics to see what's going on. 10 Worlds, where each world have got an unique season -- that's so cool! Nice animation and effects, and excellent unique powerups for each of the main 8 worlds -- gotta love those :D

SOUND: 10
Outstanding choice of music which fits perfectly with the gameplay ^^

GAMEPLAY: 8
Clever level designs. Some requires skills, while others, perfect timing. Some might even have enough luck to pass a level without following what you're supposed to do. The controls can be abit hard, and you might even fall off a platform at the edge of it, even if you're standing on it! Some levels can be really difficult, but overall, nice level maps ;)

NG MEDALS: 7.5
The Newgrounds Medals are very well picked. The first 3 medals can simply be earned by beating the game. However, the last one is quite hard to aquire because some levels are intensely hard to beat, and you'd be a master not to lose 30-50 lives on those ones. And I don't know if people would want to beat the whole game again for the last medal, after spending an hour or more beating it! But as I mentioned before -- good choice of medals.

IN-GAME ACHIEVEMENTS: 7
After beating the game, you can earn Trophies by completing random tasks to unlock World 9 and 10 -- that's a great way to keep the player even more busy, but as I pointed out before, you could've thought of a better way to unlock Worlds 9 and 10, so that a random player could enjoy the game even more right after beating it, if he/she didn't want to spend more time re-beating it. I don't know what the reward for getting all the 8 Golden Llama Achievements is, but if it something special, then I don't think anyone at all can get it. It's just IMPOSSIBLE to beat all the worlds without diying, that's totally mindblowing O_O

LASTING APPEAL: 9.5
If you really want to play the game, which you most likely will after learning the fact that there are super cool powerups in each world, you'll spend approximitely 1 Hour to beat the game, unless you've got poor skills -- I don't think you would ever beat the game. If you are really into the game and want to collect all the coins in each world, you'd probably spend less than 2 hours beating the game. Once the game is beaten, Trophies will be unlocked to be unlocked by executing difficult stuff to unlock 2 more worlds (20 more levels with different level design/theme), Advanced Mode (Hard Mode) will be available, and 8 Golden Llama Achievements will also be unlocked to be achieved by not losing a single life in each world - and if you literally would want to earn all of those, you'd spend a whole day playing this game!

OVERALL: 9
A game very well made, solely, with lots of great features. This person really wants to make a real game, and he already has enough skills to make a real Flash-game

Cute and Fun!

Very adorable graphics with an easy gameplay. As expected from the creators of Little Wheel and Easy Joe (my apologies if I'm mistaken) - but this game is incredible!

Please, I want more games like this one. They are sure alot of fun to play when you only want to pass a quick 5 minutes ;)
