If you don't like it close your eyes. Stop being such a pussy. You obviously know nothing about marketing and socially sharing content. I'd say give it 6-8 months and there will be a +1 Google button on each submission also a tweet about this animation button.

How about you find something that ISN'T helpful to the site to complain about, not a feature that will help submissions get more exposure.
The addition of that Like button probably exposed most flashes on this site to thousands more views than they would have gotten without it.

Yeah Newgrounds is selling out and they fucking should be! Raking in more money is what allows this site to give out thousands of dollars in prizes and free stuff every year.

I know that's stupid, but I wanted to write a message like on YouTube - thumbs up if you hate thumbs up. I did not make that Flash just to get likes, I hate Facebook, but making a single-framed Flash with a HUGE text with font size 1, would be awfully boring to read, and blammed!
I don't see how its a bad thing. Facebook is a huge community, even if you don't like it I you have an profile(like me). Now artists and Newgrounds have a chance for more exposure thanks to the Like button. How is that a bad thing?
